Education • Corrupt the Youth Movement

(Inspired by the life & death of Socrates.)

Why do such a thing? Corrupting the youth? What!?

Corrupt the youth is a term that satires the current societal state of affairs. It is the reason why Socrates was jailed and inevitably put to death. We can corrupt the youth by encouraging them to enhance their critical thinking skills and building a healthy drive within them; a thirst for acquiring knowledge. Influencing them to get into the habit of asking questions about everything around them. This emboldens them to explore learning things for themselves and to trust their own judgments (make their own decisions) vs the conventional standardized education models where it is more about memorization, following orders and believing what we are told at face value. Standardized education leads to standardized minds. The idea is to free our minds and be contrast to the status quo’s agenda.

Right now we are for the most part living outside the harmony of natures laws. Mankind has used his cleverness to make life physically easier through technological inventions and advancements but at the same time has sacrificed important values.

There are still valuable truths and skillsets that will forever remain important to reclaim a balance of living along side nature. What is meant by living along side nature is this: You rely more on self sufficiency. Instead of squeezing every drop out of her just to fill our own finite indulgences we can encourage one another to critically think and through this we can deploy the solutions to many of the challenges we ourselves create.
